As a qualified holistic massage & beauty therapist i would like to share with you my experience with holistic treatments tailored for the elderly and vulnerable adults. I use oils & lotions that are kind and gentle to sensitive fragile skin and i am aware of the care and empathy necessary to ensure their well-being. These treatments range from hand & arm ,foot & leg massage, manicure including hand and arm massage to indian head or a ,neck & shoulder massage - all of which can be done while the resident is seated in their chair, wheelchair, bed or recliner. Those who are able to lie comfortably on their front or side can also benefit from a full back massage. The treatments can take place in communal room or in the resident's own room The main benefit of the sessions are 1 to 1 quality time Treatments tailored to residents individual needs Multi - sensory experience in a safe and familiar setting Stimulation & relaxation Improved skin integrity


The sessions can be 15,30,60 minutes weekly fortnightly,or monthly depending on the individual's/ care homes requirements. I will interact with the individual, health care professional on site and relatives to provide a therapy that is uniquely beneficial to each resident and their welfare ,and in this i will be supporting your care staff by providing treatments for your residents for which they may not have the necessary skills to do themselves.

Prices for residents 15 mins - £10 30 mins - £20 60 mins - £35

Also a pamper afternoon could be arranged as an activity for your residents so they can try out a variety of treatments.

You may also find it beneficial to offer a treatment to your staff during a break time a 15 min indian head massage or 30 min back neck shoulder massage has been found to have huge benefits with care staff as their job is so physically demanding.
